Als lid van het Scarbo Saxophone Quartet met Asagi Ito, Pieter Pellens en Nele Tiebout, won hij Supernova 2018 en blijft hij innovatieve multidisciplinaire projecten verkennen. Hij trad op met toonaangevende ensembles zoals La Monnaie, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Brussels Philharmonic, Belgian National Orchestra en I Solisti del Vento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Als solist won Bart de World Music International Soloist Competition in Kerkrade (2011) en de 3e prijs op de Golden Saxophone Competition in Odessa (2015). Met het Anemos Saxophone Quartet won hij verschillende grote kamermuziekprijzen, waaronder de Youth\u2019n Classic Award, de Adolphe Sax Competition in Dinant en de European Chamber Music Competition in Luxemburg.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Opgeleid als dirigent aan het Conservatorium Royal de Bruxelles bij Maestro Robin Engelen, heeft Bart sindsdien een groeiende carri\u00e8re op het podium opgebouwd. Hij werkte samen met het South Denmark Philharmonic onder Jorma Panula, de Berliner Sinfonietta, het Belgrado Philharmonic String Orchestra en de hedendaagse operaproducties van Ars Musica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Hij is chef-dirigent van zowel het <strong>Kortrijks Symfonisch Orkest<\/strong> als het <strong>Universitair Symfonisch Orkest Leuven (USO)<\/strong>.
