Every first week of November, the orchestra discovers a part of the world. During this week, we rehearse and perform at some special locations abroad. This journey is organised by a select group of motivated USO-members, and is a special occasion for all of us. Recent years, the USO went to Armenia, Austria, Germany, Georgia, Czech Republic, the UK, France, Spain, Hungary and Denmark.

No matter where we end up, the USO trip always is a thrilling experience. The schedule allows some spare time for all sorts of activities, culture and leisure. However, a concert tour also means hard work. After weeks of rehearsals before the tour, we try to apply the finishing touch to our programme so that, by the end of the week, we are all set to shine on stage for approximately three concerts abroad and two in Leuven.
